さつき盆栽は、季節ごとの手入れの「タイミング」で、樹姿と花の品格が大きく変わります。特に重要なのは、剪定の時期です。さつきは一般に夏（6〜7月頃）に翌年の花芽を形成するため、剪定は「花後できるだけ早く（主に6月）」に行うのが基本です。ここを遅らせると、せっかく形成される花芽を落としてしまい、翌年の花数が減る原因になります。和洋園の「預かりサービス」では、単に枯らさないための維持ではなく、花後剪定→夏の花芽形成→秋冬の樹勢維持という、さつきのサイクルに合わせて年間管理を組み立てます。樹勢の回復、枝づくり、花付きの改善など、到達したい姿（来季の花を充実させたい／樹姿を整えたい／展示会品質を目指したい等）を踏まえて、適期の作業を積み重ねていくのが特徴です。また、預かり期間中は、状態の共有や今後の仕立て方針の相談も可能です。「自分で楽しみたい気持ち」と「プロに任せたい部分」を両立しながら、さつき盆栽の魅力を長く味わっていただけます。さつきの管理に不安がある方、来季に向けて花や樹姿を整えたい方は、ぜひ一度ご相談ください。
