Provenance

1965年 （昭和45年）

宇都宮市の某家から譲り受け、和洋園初代園主である和氣洋助により和洋園へ植えつけられる。元々は樹高が160cm程度であり、盆栽としての格を上げるべく半分の高さに切り戻し、作り直しを開始する。

2000年（平成12年）

二代目和洋園園主和氣正男に継承。露地にて大地の恵みを受けながら培養したことにより、切り戻しの際の傷跡も完全に塞がり、幹の太さも当初の30cm程度から倍以上の太さへと成長。完成品に向け細かな枝作りに励む。

2019年（令和元年）　

和氣正男の息子、佳洋が手入れを任せられるようになる。完成樹にするべく露地から木箱へと移される。

2024年（令和6年）　

和氣佳洋が日本盆栽作風展において、東京都知事賞を受賞。
